Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information INVEXSYS collects, why we
collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to
this website, to our business messaging channels — including WhatsApp,
Facebook Messenger and Instagram — and to the software services we operate
for our clients.
Who we are
INVEXSYS is a technology consulting and software company based in Cairo,
Egypt. For the purposes of data protection law we are the data controller for
information collected through this website and our own business messaging
channels.
| Legal name | INVEXSYS |
| Address | 9 El Azraa Church St, Rod El-Farag, Cairo, Egypt |

Where we build or operate software on behalf of a client, that client is the
data controller for the information their customers provide, and we act as
their data processor under contract. In those cases the client’s own privacy
policy governs, and this one does not replace it.
Information we collect
When you contact us
If you use the contact form, email us, call us, or message us on WhatsApp,
Messenger or Instagram, we receive whatever you choose to send: typically your
name, your phone number or email address, and the content of your message. On
messaging platforms we also receive the account identifier the platform gives
us, which lets us reply in the same conversation.
When you visit this website
Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request
— IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request.
This is used to keep the site available and secure, and is not used to build a
profile of you.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and cookies that help
us understand how it is used. The analytics tools below were confirmed running
on the live site on 26 August 2026:
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Google Analytics |
Reports how visitors reach and move through the site, in aggregate. Sets the _ga cookies.
|
| Mixpanel |
Records how features of the site are used, so we can see what is working. Sets an mp_ cookie.
|
| Cloudflare |
Protects and speeds up the site, and reports basic performance measurements. |
| YouTube |
Pages with an embedded video load it from YouTube, which may set its own cookies when the video plays. |
We use these to understand our own site, not to build an advertising profile of
you, and we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on it. You can block or
delete cookies in your browser settings, and both Google and Mixpanel honour the
browser-level opt-outs they publish; parts of the site may stop working if you
block functional cookies.
Why we use it, and on what basis
| What we do | Why |
|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiry and provide the service you asked for | To take steps at your request before or during a contract |
| Keep records of work performed and invoices issued | To meet accounting and tax obligations in Egypt |
| Keep our website and services secure and available | Our legitimate interest in operating safely |
| Understand how our website is used | Our legitimate interest in improving it |
| Send you marketing about our services | Only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
Business messaging: WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram
When you message us on one of these platforms, the platform provider — Meta —
processes that conversation under its own terms and privacy policy as well as
ours. We use the conversation to answer your question and to provide the
service you asked about.
We do not send you marketing messages on these channels unless you have opted
in, and every marketing message we send includes a way to stop receiving them.
Asking us a question is not an opt-in to marketing. If you ask us to stop
messaging you, we will stop, and we keep a record of that request so that it
is honoured.
We do not sell or rent your contact details, and we do not share them with
third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with:
-
Service providers who work for us — hosting, email
delivery, messaging gateways and payment processing — each bound by
contract to use the information only to provide that service to us. -
Our clients, where you are their customer and we operate a
system on their behalf. - Authorities, where we are required by law to do so.
Some of these providers operate outside Egypt, which means your information may
be transferred and stored in other countries. Where that happens we use
providers who commit contractually to protecting it.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it:
- Enquiries that do not become work: up to two years.
- Client records and correspondence: for the life of the engagement and
five years after it ends. - Invoices and accounting records: as long as Egyptian tax law requires.
- A record that you asked not to be contacted: kept indefinitely, because
deleting it is how such a request gets forgotten.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct
it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. You can
withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To make any of these requests,
contact us at [email protected].
We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, so
that we do not disclose your information to somebody else.
Children
Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect
information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal
information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the
change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we
will tell you directly.
