IoT
Connected devices produce readings. On their own, readings are not useful — a
sensor reporting a number every thirty seconds tells nobody anything until it
reaches a system that knows what the number means and who should hear about it.
Our IoT work is that second half.
What we do
Getting device data into your systems
Taking what devices report and delivering it somewhere it can be used: a
dashboard, an alert, a record against a customer or a location, or a rule that
triggers something else.
Turning readings into decisions
Thresholds, trends and alerts, aimed at the person who can act. The measure of
a good alert is that it is rare and always worth reading; most alerting fails by
being neither.
Keeping it running
Devices lose connectivity, batteries die, and readings stop arriving. Silence
from a sensor is itself information, and a system that treats it as “no news”
will miss the thing it was installed for. We build the monitoring that notices.
How we approach it
We start from the decision you want to make, not from the hardware. What would
you do differently if you knew this? If there is no answer, the sensor is not
worth installing. That question removes more projects than it starts, which we
think is correct.

that is exactly the conversation to have.
